Annie Jones (nee Kidd)
Died 10th September 2004

Annie lived in Camelon with her two sisters, Mary and Helen. Mary passed away in February 2004. She had two sons to her husband, David, who passed in September 1972. She also had five granddaughters and three grandsons, five great granddaughters and three greatgrandsons.
She also has a new Great Grandaughter, Hannah, who will be told all about her Granny when shes older.

She is missed very much by all the family, although she's very much still here.

I'm just sorry she missed her grandson and granddaughters weddings, but we know she was with us.

Four years today

Can't beleive its been four years, was down today and put flowers at the lair - but you'll already know that.

I knew it was uncle bill I saw - thought it was very strange he didn;t come near, but mum explained it was because he was too upset to talk.

We all miss you terribly - especially Auntie Helen.

Sending bigs hugs and kisses to you, Auntie Mary and everyone else up there.

Night, Night xx

In Sympathy

So sorry for your loss, your story has touched my heart. My nan passed away last year and it feels like my whole world has been taken away. My thoughts are with you. God bless. I hope you find this poem of comfort, as I have done. x

What is Dying?

A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.

Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'

That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.

Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.

Miss you

We miss you lots, and lots, I hope you got the balloons we sent up from Gordons wedding and mine too. We just wanted you to join in our parties.

You would love to see Hannah, although I'm sure your watching over her, Auntie Helen misses you dreadfully, just watch over her for us.

Will see you again one day. Love you lots.
